Protesters in downtown Syracuse break windows at the Syracuse Police Department
After a day filled with peaceful protests across central New York and Syracuse, the protests have escalated and become destructive. Syracuse Police, Geddes Police, Camillus Police, Dewitt Police, New York State Police, and the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department were all in the center monitoring the protests. There was also damage to the Onondaga County Courthouse and the Syracuse Hotel. Cars lined up in the center could be seen near the Justice Center as protesters launched fireworks.
