The Indian Railways on Wednesday released a list of 200 special trains that will run from June 1 and said that these will be fully reserved trains that will have both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned classes. Booking of these trains will start at 10 am today.





According to the government, all regular passenger services including all mail / express, passenger and suburban services will remain canceled until further notice.





According to the Indian Railways, 1,78,990 tickets for 4,23,538 passengers for more than 70 trains have been booked from 10:00 am today.





Railway Minister Piyush Goyal also announced today that booking of train tickets will start from tomorrow at about 1.7 lakh common service centers across India.





Common service centers are physical facilities for delivering government e-services to rural and remote locations where availability of computers and internet is negligible or absent.





IRCTC Ticket Booking Rules:





  1. Online e-ticketing will be done through IRCTC website or mobile app. Booking of tickets through 'agents', (both IRCTC agents and railway agents) will not be allowed.
  2. ARP (advance reservation period) will be maximum 30 days.
  3. RAC and waiting list will be generated as per the existing rules but ticket holders of the waiting list will not be allowed to board the train.
  4. No unreserved (UTS) tickets will be issued and no tickets will be issued onboard to any passenger during the journey.
  5. No Tatkal and Premium Tatkal booking will be allowed in these trains.
  6. The first chart shall be prepared at least 4 hours before the scheduled departure and the second chart at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure (as opposed to the current practice of 30 minutes). Only online current booking between the first and second charts only Will be allowed. Preparation.




The government has claimed that the introduction of more trains will also help migrants who want to travel other than labor trains. The government rules are for trains other than labor trains, which will continue to run in large numbers.





IRCTC Cancellation and Return Rules:





The Railway Passengers (Cancellation of Tickets and Fare Refund) Rules, 2015 will apply.





In addition to instructions already given regarding refund of fare in case the passenger is not found fit for travel due to corona symptoms.





All passengers will be compulsorily screened as per MHA guidelines and only odd passengers will be allowed to enter / board the train.





If during the screening a passenger has very high temperature / signs of Kovid-19 etc., he / she will not be allowed to travel despite having a confirmed ticket. In such a case, full refund will be provided to the passenger as follows: -





(i) On a single passenger PNR.





(ii) On a party ticket if a passenger is found unfit to travel and all other passengers on the same PNR do not wish to travel in that situation, full refund will be allowed for all passengers.





(iii) On a party ticket, if a passenger is found unfit to travel to other passengers on the PNR, if he wants to travel, the full refund of the fare will be given to the passenger who was not allowed to travel. .
