Fierce fire, ATM ash, rains at Lucknow Charbagh railway station
An ATM in the premises was burnt to ashes by a fierce fire on Tuesday morning at the Lucknow Charbagh railway station. The incident caused panic. On arrival, two trains of the fire department controlled the fire. The short circuit is being described as the cause of the fire.
At around 11.30 am on Tuesday morning, two ATMs in the premises were burnt down by the short circuit at Charbaug station. A sudden fire at the ATM stirred the station. RPF and GRP personnel reached the spot after receiving information from Gord. Security personnel immediately informed the fire brigade. After reaching the spot, the fire brigade arrived and saved one ATM from burning.
The Charbagh campus had ATMs of Indian and Punjab National Bank. On the spot, the guard at the PNB ATM saw the fire from the short circuit in the Indian Bank, and ran away and informed the RPF and GRP. Both called and informed the fire brigade. The fire from the short circuit was so terrible that the ATM of Indian Bank was completely gutted. Also, millions of rupees kept in it were also burnt. The fire brigade reached the spot and the fire was controlled. PNB's ATM also burnt badly. It is hoped that the money kept in PNB has been saved from burning. At present, railway officials say that this place has been leased to the bank. At the same time, according to the guard, there is a fire from the short circuit. At the moment, there was no arrangement of fire extinguishers at any ATM.
