UFC 250: Nunes vs. Spencer Predictions, Odds, Raises: Best bets on battle cards from experienced MMA specialist
Felicia Spencer is still trying to make a name for herself, having participated in just three fights since signing with the UFC in March 2019. She will go a long way on Saturday when she challenges Amanda Nunes for the UFC 250 women's featherweight title. The UFC Apex Las Vegas UFC 250 main fight card is scheduled to start at 10 pm ET. Spencer has had just nine fights in her entire Mixed Martial Arts career, while reigning two-division champion Nunes enters this fight after winning 10 in a row.
Nunes is a -650 favorite (he risks $ 650 to win $ 100), while Spencer is a +475 loser in William Hill's latest UFC 250 odds. In the co-main event, Cody Garbrandt (-150) faces Raphael Assuncao (+125) in a bantamweight fight. Before making your UFC 250 picks, be sure to check out what SportsLine MMA analyst Brandon Wise has to say.
Wise, CBS Sports editor specializing in MMA, has been dissecting the sport for five years. He specializes in choosing top card fights for the UFC, which has allowed him to be profitable every year. Wise was perfect 5-0 at UFC 239 and had a 4-1 record at UFC 245 and UFC 249. He also accomplished the destruction of Khabib Nurmagomedov by Conor McGregor in 2018, the surprise of Stipe Miocic from Daniel Cormier, the fall of Max Holloway in 2019 and TKO's Justin Gaethje Victoria over Tony Ferguson in May.
Through UFC 247, UFC 248, and UFC 249, Wise went 11-4 with his main card picks, returning healthy earnings for anyone who followed them. He also called Burns' big surprise last Saturday for Woodley, who was a -175 favorite. Anyone who has consistently followed Wise is high up.
Now, with UFC 250 rapidly approaching, Wise carefully studied each matchup on the main card, identified the best value in UFC odds, and released his MMA picks for each fight. He only shares those UFC picks here.

Amanda Nunes vs. Felicia Spencer preview
Wise knows that Nunes, who is also the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, will be making the first defense of her featherweight crown since she did a quick job for Cris Cyborg for the belt in December 2018. That victory, a knockout of 51 seconds, made her the first woman in UFC history to win two titles and have both simultaneously.
Nunes (19-4) is riding a 10-fight winning streak, the longest by a woman in UFC history and the ninth-longest overall in the promotion, and may tie male welterweight champion Kamaru Usman for the eighth longest by defeating Spencer. The 32-year-old Brazilian, who defended her bantamweight title with a unanimous decision over Germaine de Randamie in December, holds the UFC women's records for the most wins (12) and the most title fight wins (seven).
Spencer (8-1) atoned for her only professional loss the last time she entered the Octagon, recording a first-round TKO victory over Zarah Fairn on February 29 after losing a unanimous decision to Cyborg last July. The 29-year-old Canadian is no stranger to titles, as she defeated Pam Sorenson for the vacant Invicta Fighting Championships belt in November 2018 before signing with the UFC four months later. Main predictions of UFC 250
We'll share one of the Wise UFC 250 main card picks here: He's backing Sean O'Malley (-575) to defeat Eddie Wineland (+425) in a bantamweight bout.
O'Malley (11-0) is a rising star in the UFC and could have even more wins to his credit were it not for a two-year drought caused by hip surgery and a couple of failed drug test suspensions. . The 25-year-old Montana native has recorded seven of his knockout wins, including a first-round TKO on March 7 against José Alberto Quinonez.
Wineland (24-13-1) also has a penchant for knockouts, as 14 of his career victories, including the last four, have come that way. Ten years older than O'Malley, the former bantamweight champion World Extreme Cagefighting and Total Fight Challenge hasn't been very active either, fighting only three times since his TKO victory over Takeya Mizugaki in December 2016.
